SWIFT Guide / Multi-Tiered System of Support / Inclusive Academic Instruction / UDL Explained for Parents

UDL Explained for Parents

What is this resource? The National Center on Learning Disabilities web page and accompanying document explain Universal Design for Learning, or UDL, to students' family members.

Why is it valuable? This resource is helpful when family members want to understand why their children talk about being out of their seat, constructing things, and being more interested in their school work. The resource also provides a nice bridge to open communication about teaching all students together in a fully integrated school.
