What is it?  This article describes and provides examples of how the Double-Check framework promotes identification of cultural inconsistencies in disciplinary practices and supports development of culturally responsive practices that facilitate improvements in student behavior.  

Why is it valuable? The Double-Check framework promotes these practices through self-assessment and helps in self recognition of the impact of our own attitudes and beliefs toward students who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
