What is this resource? The U.S. Department of Education guidance package on Family and Community Engagement released in spring of 2014 is the first non-regulatory guidance about family and community engagement as a way to build capacity for student achievement and school improvement.  The main focus of the guidance is on the Dual Capacity Framework.

Why is it valuable? Among the many resources included in this guidance document is a state-by-state listing of family and community engagement resources.
